The American Doctrine

The American Doctrine

The Persecuted Church

If you want to know what the future will look like for the Church in America, look to China. While they have their millions in “State Approved” institutional churches, they have their tens of millions in unauthorized house churches. In China countless Christians have to endure the consequences of their convictions. This is true for believers in the Far East, Middle East, and parts of Africa as well. Many of them have been imprisoned, tortured and murdered for their faith. In some countries this has been going on for years and generations. What do you suppose these Christians think about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine? By the way, Corrie Ten-Boom referred to this theory as “American Doctrine.”

The American Doctrine

“American Doctrine,” is right! For there may have been no better place on earth that could provide the type of fertile soil and climate, where such an insidious doctrinal seed could take root and flourish. What an indictment of the Church in this country! What an indictment that the name, “American,” should have become a vulgar term coined by such a saint of God! Corrie ten Boom knew what she was talking about!

And we have the chutzpah, the presumption, and ignorance to spread this diseased doctrine. We spread it not only to “men of whom the world is not worthy,” but also to men of whom the American Church is not worthy.

But, take heed you “lovers of Israel“ to Peter‘s admonition. He was a Jewish apostle to the Jews, who said,

“Do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you.“

Left Behind

When your beloved Rapture doctrine becomes a “ruptured” doctrine, you suddenly will find yourself “left behind”.  According to Scripture, that time will meet the prophetic criteria known as the “Great Tribulation”. Be assured, at that time you may very well have the opportunity to prove just how genuine that professed love of the Jew is. And, I’d even go so far as to say that by that time, your treasured “Left Behind” book series will have long since been, well, left behind…
