The first episode of my new podcast, Stand Firm Parents, dropped today. I’m stoked about taking what I’ve learned through Stand Firm and applying it to parenting. I’m amazed every time I record an interview for, they never go as I plan. They’re better. I invite guests on for them to make specific points and it never fails I’m thrown for a loop—a good loop. This happens in every episode—even the first.
My first guests are my friends Daphne Kirk and Andrew Kirk. Through their ministry Generation 2 Generation they’re working to reconnect the generations and prepare them ‘for such a time as this.’ You can see why I have connected with them.
I particularly decided to kick off the podcast with the Kirks because I knew they would clearly communicate our mandate as parents to disciple and raise up our children in the Lord. They did just that, but then quickly took it further.

Beyond dreaming of such a thing—we can directly disciple the heroes who will fulfill this mission that’s spanned 2,000 years.
